Maddy is a color genius. I recently went to L.A. to attend a Grammy’s party — and wanted to look good. Maddy had just done my color. My friend and I booked appointments to get our hair styled at a high-end Hollywood salon. Apparently, Jennifer Anniston gets her hair done there daily. More than one stylist asked, “Where do you get your color done? This is fabulous!” Maddy’s up there with the best!

I love this salon. I have been going to Liz for 3 years for foils on my stick straight hair and have found that she is a true professional, friendly, listens well, knows how to adjust color and change my highlight according to season, and makes the experience a totally pampering one. I don’t want to go anywhere else or have anyone else take care of my hair.
The rest of the staff is friendly and accommodating–my schedule changes like crazy so I am often calling only a day or two ahead for an appointment and they go out of their way to fit me in.
The whole salon is clean and well stocked with good magazines and lots of product.
Highly recommended.

My adult daughter and I both have been coming to Eccoli for the past four years. Liz Serino King is our stylist and she is terrific! She also does my color. Not only is Liz incredibly skilled, but she has a warm welcoming personality. Everyone in the salon is professional yet also friendly. I have never had a negative experience. Back to Liz – she has a knack, an ability to just KNOW what is going to look great on you – she takes the client’s personality, hair type, facial structure, personal vision – puts it all together and comes up with a GREAT cut. And my color, well, it is complex – I do a foil along with high lights, low lights and sometimes a toner – tricky stuff, but Liz is very skilled, like a chemist/artist/designer – the result of her alchemy is that my hair looks super natural, soft, and I get so many compliments!
Prices at Eccoli are extremely reasonable for a high end salon like this with the high level of skill that you find here. You would pay twice what Eccoli charges at a salon on Newbury Street, and I dare say, the results wouldn’t be as good as what the talent at Eccoli produces.

I have been going to Eccoli for years now and I have never been happier!!! My hair stylist is Jennifer Shine and she is above and beyondddd AMAZING! I have been platinum blonde, dark brown, and now light brown with highlights and I can’t tell you how talented she is with color! I’ve seen her transformations on people from dull & boring, to hott and fabulous & she changes people’s lives for the better! She loves what she does and she’s phenomenal at it. Her other specialty is UPDO’s! She’s been doing my updo’s since my PROM DAYS – and time after time friends would ask me who styled my hair. She is just awesome. Now she is doing my hair for my wedding and I couldn’t be more excited. The attention to detail, passion, and love that she puts into each and every hair style she works on will make your head spin when you walk out of the salon. Being born with very frizzy, curly, unruly hair, I can’t tell you how effortlessly beautiful I feel after getting a color, cut, or keratin treatment from Jennifer. GO SEE HER !!! YOU DEFINITELY WILL NOT REGRET IT!! Plus she’s entertaining to be around ;O)

I have been getting my hair done by Lisa Kendis at Eccoli Hair Design since 1999, when I was trying to find someone to do “up-do’s” for everyone in my bridal party. Lisa is very talented with all styles and lengths of hair and just seems to know exactly what to do everytime I go in there. When she thinks it is time for a change, she makes suggestions and I’m always thrilled with the results. I constantly get compliments on my hair, and I always feel great when I leave Eccoli!

I drive all the way from Newton for a haircut with Maddy Gersh at Eccoli, and it’s totally worth it every time. She makes me feel great, and I get complements on my haircut for weeks afterwards.

I’ve been going to Eccoli since I moved to the Boston area 3 and a half years ago. I’m so glad I found a great salon near work! The atmosphere is friendly and comforting, it’s exactly what you’d want in a salon experience. More importantly, though, if you want a great color job you should definitely book an appointment with Sabrina. She’s brilliant with all over color. I’ve gotten so many compliments from complete strangers on my hair color. I’m not really sure how she does it but the color jobs I get from her just seem to last longer than the ones I’ve gotten other places, which is notable because my hair is dyed a deep auburn that usually fades or gets bronzy really fast. That hasn’t been the case since I’ve been going to Sabrina. She’s also super nice, takes the time to get to know her customers, and an awesome stylist. If you’re looking for a great place to get your hair done, particularly a color job, go to Eccoli, and ask for Sabrina.

Every time I come to Eccoli I am always impressed by the great vibe of the salon and the friendliness of all of the hair dressers. Liz Serino cuts and dyes my hair… And she never disappoints! I used to dread going to the hair dressers because I have been on the receiving end of a bad haircut… But now I can’t wait to make my next hair appointment!
Also, I have never dyed my hair a bold color like pink before but I completely trusted Liz to do a great job. I have received so many compliments since getting pink highlights and I feel that Liz interpreted what I was asking her to do perfectly! (like she does every time) Thank you Liz for your outstanding haircuts!
Side note: I would also like to say that the continuing education that the hairdressers do with respect to the latest techniques keeps this salon modern and producing great haircuts/styles!
